“Opal” Suchata Chuangsri made history as the first Thai woman to win the Miss World crown at the Miss World 2025 pageant held in Hyderabad, India, on May 31, 2025. This marks the first time in the 72-year history of the pageant that a contestant from Thailand has won the coveted title.
